He'eia State Park wedding venue is a great option for a wedding celebration when you are looking for oceanfront views with an indoor space that also does not cost an arm and a leg.
The venue is continuously improving to meet the needs of the current clientele. The location is easy to access and provides lots of photo opportunities and room for creativity.
Ceremony
Today, we are talking about the wedding of Tasha and Steven. The couple booked a ceremony package with the I want to marry you elopement company and then reached out to me to assist them with the rest of the details for their full wedding experience. The ceremony was held at Paradise Cove Beach venue and it was a perfect location for this group. We arranged their transportation through the Oahu Party Bus to make sure everyone got there safely and on time from their hotel in Waikiki and then to the reception venue at He'eia State Park.
Reception
The reception started in the early afternoon. Humidity was it's highest that day. Taking into consideration that the group cam from Arizona, that humidity felt almost unbearable. I am glad this year He'eia State Park wedding venue installed new AC units which allowed for a nice and more comfortable reception experience.
The grounds around the event space are gorgeous and later in the evening we could feel a nice breeze and enjoy the views.
Entertainment
At this wedding, we had Jestin Nainoa Heffernan again assist us with emcee and DJ services. Nainoa has a special procedure for how he approaches this type of service. We enjoyed the questionnaires he requested from the Bridal Party. It was fun to listen to everyone's answers when they described the couple according to Nainoa's questions.
Catering
He'eia State Park wedding venue has preferred vendors that we also like to work with. One of their preferred caterers is Keneke's Catering. This team is always a pleasure to work with because they are hard-working, detail-oriented, and are quite reasonably priced.
Honolulu Bartending Company provided bartending services. And we also ordered a few dozen delicious cupcakes from A Cake Life, the Honolulu bakery that never disappoints.
Decor
Lastly, Ambiance Today supplied florals while the rest of the setup was provided by myself. I brought all my linens and chair decor while Ambiance Today adorned the tables with floral arrangements.
It was a great experience all around. I truly loved working with Tasha and Steven on their special day. I wish them many years of joy and happiness together!
